Hosted offerwall
Create offerwalls for your apps and sites: currency and exchange rate, look, per-wall postbacks, embedding and what your users see.
An offerwall is a ready-made offer page. Open it with your user's ID and it shows the offers that user can complete right now, sends them to the advertiser when they tap one, and keeps track of the steps they have finished. You still credit rewards from your postbacks.
If you would rather design the list yourself, use the offers API. Both use the same offers and the same tracking, and the API can price rewards for one of your offerwalls with offerwall_id.
Create one
Open Offerwalls in the dashboard and create one per app or placement, for example "iOS app" and "Website rewards page". Each has:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Currency name | What your app calls its reward, e.g. Coins or Gems. |
| Rate | How much currency a dollar you earn buys. At 1,000, an offer paying you $1.50 shows +1,500 Coins. |
| Heading and logo | Shown at the top of the offerwall. |
| Accent colour | Buttons, category tabs and reward badges. |
| Theme | Light, dark, or auto to follow the user's device. |
| Postback URL | Optional. Where conversions from this offerwall are sent, if not your account's postback URL. |
| Status | Paused shows users an empty offerwall until you switch it back on. |
The editor shows a live preview with your real offers as you change settings.
Rewards and postbacks
The reward on the offerwall is what you earn for the offer times the rate, rounded down (never below 1 for a paying step). A user who completes it from that offerwall comes back to you in the postback with that same number as {reward}, so what they saw is what you credit. {offerwall_id} tells you which offerwall it came from, which helps when several apps share one postback URL.
Changing the rate applies to conversions from then on; conversions already made keep their reward.
Your link
Each offerwall has its own link, shown on its page:
https://cashadmedia.com/wall/ow_8f3k2LqZ?user_id={user_id}Replace {user_id} with your ID for the user, up to 200 characters. Add theme=light or theme=dark to override the theme for one placement.
Mobile apps. Open the link in a webview or an in-app browser. Offers open in a new window, which on a phone is the device browser, so app store links and installs work.
Websites. Put it in an iframe that fills the space you give it:
<iframe src="https://cashadmedia.com/wall/ow_8f3k2LqZ?user_id=u_123"
style="width:100%;height:100%;min-height:640px;border:0" title="Offers"></iframe>What your users see
- Offers that run in their country and on their device. App offers only show on the phone they are for.
- Offers that are full for the day are left out until midnight UTC.
- Search and category tabs.
- For multi-step offers, every step with its reward, and a tick next to the ones they have finished.
- Offers they have completed move to the bottom, marked done.
Anyone can open the link with any user_id, the same as a click link. That is safe: you only credit users when our signed postback arrives, never from the offerwall itself.
